We are now in March and for the past month I have been very busy. We here at the Dominican Republic Episcopal church had our convention in February. We had many guests from the United States and many trips to the airport to pick up people and bring them to the convention. After the convention we had an exploratory trip to many of our churches to show some of our projects we are doing. Then from there we went to Jimini for the next couple of days to assemble playground equipment. We then went on to Barahona to view the work that had to be done to the school ceilings. From there we returned to Santo Domingo and the next day I left for New Jersey for the Episcopal Church convention there. After the convention I returned to Santo Domingo and when I arrived I picked up the team leader from the diocese of Central Gulf Coast and we went right to work. We went to the lumber yard to order the wood to build pews for two churches. The next day we went back to the lumber yard to finish our order and proceeded to visit the churches to get all the exact dimensions we would need. That was on Friday and on Saturday the wood was delivered and the rest of the group had arrived all 17 of us and we began work building twenty pews, two altars and four clergy chairs. By the end of the next week we completed everything and had delivered them to the two churches, Santa Ana and Santa Margarita. All of that was a total of 5 weeks. Now it is on to other projects. Estamos aquí, en la iglesia República Dominicana Episcopal tuvimos nuestra convención en febrero. Tuvimos muchos invitados de los Estados Unidos y muchos viajes al aeropuerto a recoger a la gente y llevarlos a la convención. Después de la convención, tuvimos un viaje exploratorio a muchas de nuestras iglesias para mostrar algunos de nuestros proyectos que estamos haciendo. Luego, desde allí nos fuimos a Jimini para el próximo par de días para armar el equipo del patio. Luego nos fuimos a Barahona para ver el trabajo que había que hacer a los techos de la escuela. A partir de ahí volvimos a Santo Domingo y al día siguiente me fui a Nueva Jersey para la convención de la Iglesia Episcopal allí. Después de la convención regresé a Santo Domingo y cuando llegué me recogí el líder del equipo de la diócesis de la costa central del Golfo y fuimos derecho al trabajo. Fuimos al almacén de maderas para ordenar la madera para construir bancas por dos iglesias. Al día siguiente volvimos al almacén de maderas para terminar nuestro pedido y nos dirigimos a visitar las iglesias para obtener todas las dimensiones exactas que necesitaríamos. Eso fue el viernes y el sábado por la madera fue entregado y el resto del grupo había llegado en los 17 de nosotros y comenzó a trabajar la construcción de veinte bancos, dos altares y cuatro sillas clero. A finales de la próxima semana completamos todo y les habíamos entregado a las dos iglesias, Santa Ana y Santa Margarita. Todo eso fue un total de 5 semanas. Ahora es a otros proyectos. Bendiciones
